eset NOD32 won't detect Trojans

I got Trojan.Zbot.h too. It showed up as repeated code injection attempts on explorer.exe and winlogon.exe, which fortunately were detected by Kerio Personal Firewall.

My anti-virus program, NOD32, did NOT detect the presence of the virus. It had also failed to detect another Trojan earlier this year, and I was never able to get eset to respond to my e-mails asking why NOD32 failed to protect me.

Anyway I was finally able to detect and (I hope) eliminate the Trojan using AVG Anti-Spyware. I hope you did too. As for what it's capable of doing or migh have done to me, I haven't found any information yet. I'll take a look at the McAfee, Sophos, and Kaspersky sites. They had the other Trojan that NOD32 failed to detect listed.

Okay, Sophos has info on a threat called Troj/Zbot-A, listed since Oct. 10. McAfee and Kaspersky turn up nothing when I do a search on "Zbot".

That's odd NOD32 didn't detect it. Do you have the heuristics set all the way up and to scan all files "Deep"? I did post the trojan name on another forum to make sure there AV can detect it.
